About KOALA Tech

KOALA Tech Inc. was founded in March 2019. It is a venture that originated from Kyushu University,
established with the goal of commercializing OSLD.
The company aims to develop and commercialize a laser that is highly compatible with the organic electronic device platform.
This includes Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) devices, which have recently gained attention as high-definition and flexible displays.
We intend to provide new solutions to users in the organic semiconductor device field, contributing to a future smart society where humans and technology coexist.

Core ValuesPioneering the future of organic
electronics with our unique optical

PurposeUnlocking the potential of "light" to
create a harmonious coexistence
between people and technology

MissionWe proudly stand as pioneers,
introducing "organic semiconductor
laser diodes" into practical
applications, thus rendering it an
indispensable technology for the
smart society of tomorrow

Organic electronic technologies, like OLEDs, leverage lightweight, soft, and eco-friendly attributes. They are poised to play a significantly larger role in the next-generation smart society, particularly in wearable devices.
At KOALA Tech, we're on a mission to harness the power of "light" through a unique fusion of "organic" and "laser" technologies. Our goal is to enhance the capabilities of organic electronics, ultimately contributing to the creation of a more user-friendly smart society.
